Sunchubamba Hunting enclosed land

Sunchubamba is an enclosed hunting ground in Peru.

Description

This 597.35 square kilometre hunting preserve in the region of Cajamarca, province of Cajamarca was established April 22, 1977 through law.The main goal of the Sunchumbamba Hunting Area is to preserve the wild fauna.

*Llaulli (Barbadesia dombeyn)
*Kikuyo grass (Pennisetum clandestinum)

*Cypress (Cupressus)

Fauna

*Andean Tinamou (Nothoprocta pentlandii)
*Black-winged Ground Dove (Metriopelia melanoptera)
*Culpeo (Pseudalopex culpaeus)
*Wild rabbit (Sylvilagus brasiliensis)
*Hog-nosed skunk (Conepatus)
*Zariguellas/Opossum (Didelphis)
*Vizcacha (Lagidium peruanum)
*Falcon (Falco femoralis).
