Located just off City Road, Thoresby House is situated between Angel and Old Street tube station, in zone 1. Thoresby House is within walking distance to City University, several shops, restaurants, trendy bars and local pubs.

Thoresby House is a four story Edwardian Period building which consists of mainly single dormitory-style rooms, several lounges with a TV / DVD player, separate male and female shower rooms, and four separate kitchen facilities. Additional on-site amenities include a 24hr launderette, and an academic classroom. Each student room has 'wired' Internet access, student desk, single bed, wash basin, telephone (with personal voice mail) and a small refrigerator. Although most of the rooms are singles, each floor has at least one shared double room which is available upon request. The Thoresby House houses 34 students and a Resident Manager.
