Blagoy Blagoev ( _bg. Благой Благоев, born December 4, 1956) was an Olympic weightlifter for Bulgaria.

*Senior European Champion (1979, 1981, 1982, & 1983)

*All-time Senior World record holder in snatch (195.5kg, competing at 90kg)
*Senior World record holder in snatch (1979-1992)
*Set twenty-three World records during career
