David Wiltse is an American playwright. He currently writes plays, but has also written a dozen novels and numerous screenplays and teleplays. He is the current playwright in residence at the Westport Country Playhouse. His recent works include The Good German, A Marriage Minuet (published by Broadway Play Publishing Inc.), and Hatchetman. Wiltse is married to Anne Keefe, the Westport Country Playhouse's former Associate Artistic Director.
His most successful novels featured FBI Agent John Becker. The series included Prayer For The Dead, Close To The Bone, The Edge Of Sleep, Into The Fire, Bone Deep, and Blown Away.
