July 19 ,1952 inSaint Clair, Missouri ), is a Republican politician fromMissouri currently sitting in theMissouri State Senate . He currently resides with his wife, Rita Maune, inWashington, Missouri . They have three children Sean, Aaron, and Michelle as well as one daughter in-law, Amanda.He graduated from East Central College in
Union, Missouri . He is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, theLions Club International , theKnights of Columbus , and theElks Club .He started his political career as a member of the Washington city council (1982-1988). He then went on to the
Franklin County, Missouri , commission (1989-1992), theMissouri House of Representatives (1992-2002), and theMissouri State Senate (2002-present). He is a member of the following committees:
