Route 134 is a highway in the province of Quebec running from Montreal at the intersection of Sherbrooke Street (junction with Quebec Route 138) to Candiac, including crossing of the Saint Lawrence River over the Jacques Cartier Bridge.

Taschereau Boulevard

The section of Route 134 from Longueuil to Candiac (junction of Autoroute 15), is named Boulevard Taschereau, after the prominent Quebec family that included former premier Louis-Alexandre Taschereau. This is a major boulevard (10.5 miles, 17.5 km) crossing the south shore of Montreal, making it one of the longest commercial arteries in Canada. It serves the heart of an area with an estimated population of 400,000.

Between its approach near the Jacques-Cartier Bridge and the Quebec Route 112 and Quebec Route 116 expressway that links Longueuil with the Saint-Hubert and Saint-Bruno sectors, Route 134 is a 6-lane expressway with interchanges to local areas within Longueuil and LeMoyne. In some sections, it is designed as a Right-in/right-out freeway with at-grade intersections on the municipality-maintain lane (usually right lane) to local streets from one side of the highway.
