EU Forest Watch is a forest issues newsletter focusing on the European Union. The newsletter is published monthly since 1996 by FERN, and often includes related briefing notes. Subscriptions to EU Forest Watch are over 11,000 and website visitors extend 10,000 per month.

The newsletter is appreciated from its "very good and, politically speaking, really accurate analysis" (FERN review, 2003). "Thanks for your excellent newsletter. Please kept them coming." The Guardian, 2003

Issues from 2000 are available as a free (PDF or HTML) download from [http://www.fern.org FERN website] . It is also possible to subscribe for free to the print and forest-friendly email editions through the website.
