Sirogojno is a village in
Serbia , located on Mt. Zlatibor. Sirogojno offers a variety of interesting activities including fashion shows of knitwear hand-made by female residents of Mt. Zlatibor, evenings by the fire and summer school for learning traditional crafts such as pottery, knitting, mosaic-making and graphic skills.Also in Sirogojno is an
open air museum , or ethno village, known as the "Old Village" Museum (Serbian: Muzej "Staro selo"), covering nearly 15 hectares and containing authentic elements of ordinary life collected from all over theZlatibor region from the 19th century for observation. The ethno village displays a set of old traditional wooden houses, including a bakery, a dairy, and an inn, all in authentic form.t Apostles Peter and Paul Church
Serbian orthodox church in Sirogojno was built in 1764. It is dedicated to Apostles
St Peter andSt Paul . As it reads on the royal doors beside the signature of icon painter Simeon Lazovic. Village graveyard is located by the church. The reconstruction of initial layout of the Sirogojno church was based on the preserved special manuscripts, protocols, records and other historical sources and analogies.External links
