Ernest Laszlo, A.S.C. (

He was a member of theAmerican Society of Cinematographers , and was its president from 1972 to 1974.Life and career
Born in Budapest,
Hungary , he emigrated to the United States and began working as a camera operator on suchsilent film s as "Wings" (1928). Between 1928 and 1977, he served as cinematographer on sixty-nine films. Between 1961 and 1976 Laszlo was nominated for eightAcademy Awards for Best Cinematography, and won the award in 1966 for "Ship of Fools".Selected filmography
