October 15 1912 inKraków – diedFebruary 28 1980 inKatowice ) was a Polishtennis player. Because her name was difficult to pronounce for many people who did not speak Polish, she was often called by the nicknames "Jed" or "Ja-Ja".Jędrzejowska reached the singles final of a Grand Slam tournament on three occasions, still a record for Polish tennis.
