South Elgin High School is a four-year high school located in South Elgin, Illinois, a north-west suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Elgin Area School District U46, which also includes Elgin High School, Larkin High School, Bartlett High School, and Streamwood High School. The class of 2008 was the first to graduate at the high school.

Beacon Academy is the newest academy to district u-46, the academy deals with teaching broadcasting and communiaction, Beacon stands for Broadcasting Education And Communication Networks. The Academy opened in Fall of 2008, with 50 Students.
