- Joe Cioffi
Joseph Cioffi is a native New Yorker, born on January 27, 1960 in East Harlem NY, grew up in the Bronx attending SS Philip and James School and a graduate of Cardinal Spellman HS. After graduating from City College of NY in 1982 Joe left the Today Show where he worked with Willard Scott and took his first on-air job at KRIS-TV Corpus Christi. In 1983 it was on to WVUE-TV in New Orleans. In late 1986 Joe returned to NY where he joined News 12 Long Island and became senior meteorologist there. In 1996 Joe went to channel 11 in NY (then the WB now the CW 11) where according to him was the best 10 years he could have ever asked for. In 2007 Joe joined WNBC in NY where he fills in for Chris Cimino on Today In New York and John Marshall on NewsChannel 4 on Weekend evenings on occasion. His voice can also be heard on NJ 101.5 radio on weekends.

Joe has won an emmy and a cable ace award along with being awarded an AMS Broadcasters Seal in 1984.
Joe is an avid horse racing fan. He co-owns racehorses named Act of Contrition and A P Nasser.
Joe lives on Long Island with his wife Jenny and has 3 children.
