Sukdal ( _bn. সুকদল) is a census town under Bud Bud police station [ [http://www.wbcensus.gov.in/DataTables/01/Table-3.htm District-wise list of stautory towns] ] of Durgapur subdivision in Bardhaman district in the Indian state of West Bengal.

Geography

Bud Bud is located in the laterite plains between Damodar River and Ajay River. Demographics

As of 2001 India census [GR|India] , Sukdal had a population of 11,785. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Sukdal has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 67%. In Sukdal, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
