Odugathur is a panchayat town in Vellore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Nearest to odugathur there are many villages (less populated) there and recently SBI opened a branch at Guruvarajapalayam ATM facility available. INDIAN bank also running now ATM facility and more over last 2006 most of the tele service started and now AIRTEL, VODAFONE, AIRCEL, RELIANCE etc., service available. The famous thing for odugathur is the GOD SHIVA TEMPLE and its having 300 years of history.and state government planned to block UTHIRA KAVERI to construct DAM for formers who they doing agriculture, but it was planned many years ago but still not inacted yet, politicians will say every election our party going construct that, but after that election (they won) people will realise that's bogus.
