Jasidih is a city and a notified area in Deoghar district in the Indian state of Jharkhand.

Geography

Jasidih is located at coord|24.52|N|86.65|E| [ [http://www.fallingrain.com/world/IN/38/Jasidih.html Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Jasidih] ] . It has an average elevation of 260 metres (853 feet).It is located on Howra-Delhi(Railway) MainLine.It is nearest rail-head to Deoghar (Baidhnathdham), a nearby temple town.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census [GR|India] , Jasidih had a population of 14,129. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%.
