Esperanza High School (EHS) is a 9th–12th grade public high school located in Anaheim, California that is part of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. It is a California Distinguished School and home to many excellent athletic programs, such as baseball, football, basketball, marching band, tennis, and the Aztec Dance Company. EHS is a member of the Sunset League, which is part of the Southern Section of the California Interscholastic Federation.

More than 3,100 students attend the school. Most come from nearby Yorba Linda, California with the rest generally residing in Anaheim and east Placentia.

Esperanza was ranked #860 out of the "Top 1,300 U.S. High Schools" in MSNBC/Newsweek's 2008 list.cite web

Rivalry with Los Alamitos High School

Esperanza and Los Alamitos High Schools are well known throughout Orange County to be rivals. As of 2008, Esperanza holds a three year winning streak for the Millennium Cup in varsity football over Los Al (Los Alamitos).
