It lies at the intersection of two main highways, the Jhang–Lalian road and Jhang–Sargodha road. The main castesWord choice questioned of the town are Rajput (Rana), Khokhar, Arain, Thaheem and Bharwana (sub clan of Sial).[citation needed] Chund Bharwana is situated between two rivers, the Jhehlum and the Chenab. People intending to visit towns like Shahjewan, Pir Kot, Salyana, Chela, Jhagar, Haveli Sheikh Rajoo, Kala Baali, and Lalian pass through Chund Bharwana.
The famous folk singer Irshad Hussain Teddi came from Chund Bharwana, and the late famous Punjabi poet Shafqat Abbas Kakiyana also came from Chund Bharwana. Chund Bharwana is also famous for its railway bridge over the Chenab River 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) southeast of town.
