Rajoa Sadat

The town of Rajoa Sadat is situated at Faisalabad Sargodha Road in Tehsil Chiniot of District Jhang. It is dominated by Naqvi-Bukhari Syeds. It is a large tract behind the Chadhar country near chenab river. Sadat of Rajoa have always been independent in history, even in the Syal reign they enjoyed their independence which may be due to their respect of belonging to Muhammad's family or it may also be due their own valour and bravery. But once in the reign of famous Walidad Khan Syal they were attacked by syals as it is said that they were involved in camel theft which were the property of Syals, so after just punishing them the Walidad khan restored their state of independence.

The Sadat of Rajoa fought valiantly against the Sikhs and stood victorious miraculously against all odds,after a storm which rendered the Sikh army in total disarray. The Sardar of Rajoa Syed Fateh Darya acted as the deputy collector for the British.

The Syeds of this area still play an active role in politics. The most famous politician of Rajoa Sadat is Sardar Muhammad Ali Shah,Former railway minister and Chairman Public accounts committee. His contribution as Chairman public accounts committee are highly recognized. He is grand son of the famous Khan Bahadur Sardar Hussain Shah. Sardar Hussain Shah served as Member Legislative Counsil in pre-partitioned Indian and later his son Sardar Ghaulam Muhammad Shah served as MNA during Ayub Khan regieme.

Sardarzada Tahir Shah, brother to Sardar Muhammad Ali Shah, is the current member of national assembly Pakistan from this region. He has already served as Member Provincial Assembly Punjab twice. His son Abbas Ali Shah is Union Nazim of Rajoa Sadat,and his nephew Zulfiqar Ali Shah, is Tehsil Nazim, Chiniot. He is one of the few Tehsil Nazims who have been elected for the second term. He has contributed towards projects involving public involvement and contribution. He has represented Pakistan in the world development forum. His contributions in good governance are recognised in the area and nation wide.

Another politician from the Rajoa Syeds has been the late Sardarzada Zafar Abbas Syed, who served as MPA and MNA. He has been succeeded by his nephew Hassan Murtaza who is presently MPA.

Apart from politics, the Sadat of Rajoa are still very influential in the region. Their relations with the local people and tribes has helped them retain respect and are honored in the region. Their deliverance of justice and resolution of issues has always been a hallmark and continues with time. Some of them are also known for being a bit notorious and held in fear.

A university is under construction now at Rajoa Sadat named Jamiatul Beasat (Beasat University) administered by Maulana Mazhar Kazmi.
