Ontario Hockey League 'sOttawa 67's , Ambroziak debuted with Buffalo'sAmerican Hockey League affiliates, theRochester Americans , in the 1991–92 season. He played with the Americans for parts of four seasons, and made his only NHL appearances with the Sabres during the 1994–95 season. He played in 12 games, recording one assist.Ambroziak spent the next four seasons between the AHL, the International Hockey League, and the
United Hockey League . He settled in with theNew Mexico Scorpions of theWestern Professional Hockey League for the 1999–2000 season, and stayed with the franchise through the league's merger with theCentral Hockey League .
