January 26 ,1979 , in St. John's, Newfoundland,Canada ) is aCanadian professionalice hockey centre. Most recently, he played forEHC Basel ofSwitzerland 's Nationalliga A in the 2005–06 season. He is currently a free agent. He was drafted in the second round, 36th overall, by theVancouver Canucks in the1997 NHL Entry Draft .After playing three seasons in the
Ontario Hockey League , for the Detroit/Plymouth Whalers , Druken joined the Canucks'American Hockey League affiliate, theSyracuse Crunch , in the 1999–2000 season. He was called up to the NHL that same season, appearing in 33 games for Vancouver and recording seven goals. Druken would also spends parts of the next three seasons with the Canucks, before being traded to theCarolina Hurricanes during the 2002–03 season. He would change teams for a second time later that season, being sent to theToronto Maple Leafs . Druken's most recent NHL experience came when he appeared in nine games for the Maple Leafs during the 2003–04 season.External links
