Borzya

Borzya ( _ru. Борзя) is a town in Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia, located on the Borzya River (Amur's basin) some 349 km southeast of Chita. Population: 31,100 (2005 est.); 31,460 (2002 Census). It is the headquarters of the 36th Army of the Russian Ground Forces.

Borzya was founded in 1899 and granted town status in 1950.
