Gangoh is a city and a municipal board in Saharanpur district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Geography

Demographics

As of 2001 India census [GR|India] , Gangoh had a population of 53,947. Males constitute 55% of the population and females 45%. Gangoh has an average literacy rate of 40%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 47%, and female literacy is 32%. In Gangoh, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
