Jorge Labarga is currently a Judge for the 15th Circuit Court in Palm Beach County, Florida. He is notable as the judge who refused a new recount during the 2000 U.S. Presidential election. He refused the descrepency on the grounds that the Constitution stated that an election had to be held everywhere on the same day, not just in one area.

Education

* Labarga received his Bachelors degree from the University of Florida. He also received his Juris Doctorate from this institution as well in 1979.
