Meteren (51°52′N 5°17′E / 51.867°N 5.283°E / 51.867; 5.283) is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Geldermalsen, and lies about 10 km west of Tiel.

The village Meteren has a population of around 3210.[1] The statistical area "Meteren", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 3450.[1]
