The Arts Council Silicon Valley is the official Santa Clara County, USA arts council.
Founded in 1982, Arts Council Silicon Valley is a private, nonprofit arts organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Santa Clara County residents by supporting arts and culture throughout the county. As a grant making organization, they provide funding, advocacy, marketing and fundraising services to small to midsize arts groups and artists.
Over the past 13 years, Arts Council Silicon Valley has distributed nearly $8.0 million to local arts and cultural organizations, individual artists, schools, and community groups.
As a grantmaking agency, they provide funding and fundraising support services to more than 140 local arts organizations and individual artists. They also provide advocacy, marketing, and support services to more than 600 local arts organizations and strive to help make the arts accessible to their youth.
As the official state and local partner with the California Arts Council and the County of Santa Clara, they are now the largest private nonprofit arts council in the state.
