Paisley railway station was located on the Werribee line of the Melbourne suburban rail system in Australia. It was located between Newport and Galvin stations.
Paisley was opened on October 14, 1929. Though it was a public platform, it played a key role in servicing refineries in the area.
In 1985, a new extension between Westona and Laverton was built. This was as a result of the electrification of the Werribee line, but at the same time, the route of the line was changed to link Altona with Laverton. This was to try to make a more viable route, as both Paisley and the nearby station of Galvin were little-used. As a result, trains on the Werribee line were diverted through Westona and Altona, and Paisley, along with Galvin was bypassed and closed. The last trains stopped at the station on April 14, 1985.
While the subway was removed post-closure, an island platform still exists underneath the Millers Rd. overpass in Altona. This is still visible from some peak hour express services and passing Geelong V/Line trains, which take the direct route via Paisley.
