Pentosyltransferases

Pentosyltransferases

Pentosyltransferases are a type of glycosyltransferase that catalyze the transfer of a pentose.

Examples include:
* adenine phosphoribosyltransferase
* hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase
* pertussis toxin
* poly ADP ribose polymerase

They are classified under EC number 2.4.2.
