Paris Métro station at the border of the 10th arrondissement to the 19th arrondissement at the crossing of lines 2, 5 and 7, located at thePlace Stalingrad which is named for theBattle of Stalingrad .The station first opened as "Rue d'Aubervilliers" on Line 2. On
5 November 1910 , a separate underground station was opened a short distance away named "Boulevard de la Villette" on Line 7. In 1942, the two stations combined to form "Aubervilliers - Boulevard de la Villette". Line 5 opened its corresponding station at 12 October 1942. In 1946, the station's name changed to "Stalingrad".
