ISSN ="The Buzz" is the official
student newspaper ofSAR High School . It reports on student activities, the school's sport teams, and other events centering around students and the school.History
This newspaper was first conceived in 2003 by Dr. Edward Zevin (the 9th grade
world history teacher at the time). The newspaper staff failed to publish a single issue of the paper during its inaugural year, and in its second year as well under new advisor Stephen Schloss. The Buzz printed its first issue in May 2006. In academic year '07-'08, The Buzz published three regular issues, as well as a satire edition for the Jewish holiday of "Purim". The Editorial staff of The Buzz hope for a much more productive year in '08-'09, perhaps shattering previous records by publishing 6-7 issues throughout the year. Additionally, The Buzz recently announced the addition of color images. The Buzz recently moved locations from the cramped, unsecured, first-floor media lab, which was managed by genius artist James Andrews, to an office of their own on the 6th floor of SAR High School. The office is equipped with up-to-date Macs, a high quality printer, and comfortable furniture for its staff.
