Forum at Grace Cathedral

The Forum at Grace Cathedral is a live, weekly talk show based in San Francisco, California. The Forum presents thought-provoking and engaging conversations on critical issues. The Forum features many of today's top authorities from the world of politics, activism, spirituality, the arts, humanities and theology. It is moderated by The Very Reverend Alan Jones, Dean of Grace Cathedral.

Overview

The Forum is held on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:30 a.m. and runs until 10:30 a.m. It is also occasionally held at 1:00 p.m. The Forum season runs from Labor Day to Memorial Day.

The Forum has two live audiences: one onsite and the other by means of the Internet. The format is a radio-style discussion, featuring an interactive, conversation format. The first half of The Forum is a question and answer discussion between Jones and the guest. The final 20-25 minutes are devoted to questions from in-house audience and webcast listeners. Guests do not make formal, prepared presentations, as Jones prompts the conversation by posing questions.

The Forum is an open, inclusive environment where all views are welcome in the spirit of civil dialogue. There is no admission charge to attend, and is always open to the public.
