University of California, Berkeley from 1994-1998 where he was a history and political science major. He was a minor celebrity, writing a column for the "Daily Californian ", the most famous of which brought theUnited States Secret Service to his apartment for a column in November 1997 before the Big Game between Berkeley andStanford University , in which he made mocking suggestions that Berkeley students attack Stanford FreshmanChelsea Clinton .
