The Montserrat Democratic Party is a political party in Montserrat, led by Lowell Lewis.
In legislative elections held on 31 May 2006, the party won 24.4% of the vote and 1 seat in the Legislative Council.
Lewis, with the support of an independent candidate and the former ruling New People's Liberation Movement (who won three seats in the election), was able to form a coalition government. He took office as Chief Minister on 2 June 2006.
