The Nobility (formerly known as Jetpack UK/Jetpack) is a pop rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee.

The band members are
*Sean Williams — songwriting, vocals and guitar,
*Stephen Jerkins, — guitar, keyboard and vocals
*Brain Fuzzell, — percussion
*Ben Harper, — bass guitar

Since 2001, The Nobility has become a popular band in Nashville. They have played many shows (often with other Nashville rock bands) and continue to record music and bring their unmistakable sound to other states.

David Dewese, who left the band to focus on other projects, played bass for the band in 2005 and 2006, and recorded on The Nobility's first album, "The Mezzanine", which was released on July 31, 2007.

The band changed its name to The Nobility in May 2007 after having been known as Jetpack and Jetpack UK since 2001. There were many reasons for the change, the most urgent of which was a legal dispute with a band by the same name (Jetpack). The band also signed a management deal with [http://theory8records.com Theory 8 Management] in 2007.

Tours

At the end of May, 2006, The Nobility (then Jetpack UK) started "The Art of Building a Tour" Tour. They traveled across the northern part of the country playing shows in cities such as Indianapolis, Indiana, Chicago, Illinois, and New York City, New York.

The Nobility is the subject of a children's book titled "Inside a Rock Band". It follows The Nobility through forming a band, writing lyrics, and playing shows. The book was written before the name change in 2007; therefore, the band is referred to as Jetpack UK. To promote the book, the band played full-volume rock shows in libraries across America.

The band toured the Northeastern United States in the late summer and early fall of 2007 for their album, "The Mezzanine".

On June 31, 2008, the band recorded [http://www.haveyouheard.net/2008/06/02/ep26-walter-meego-the-nobility-spiritualized/ an interview] and some unreleased songs on the music podcast "Have You Heard".
