Oxford and joined Brighton & Hove Albion as a trainee. He turned professional in August 2002, while his uncle,Martin Hinshelwood was Brighton manager and made his league debut onAugust 10 ,2002 in a 3-1 victory away to Burnley. However, since making a bright start to his professional career, he has suffered terribly fromcruciate knee injuries, suffering this injury four times already in his short career.After surgery in the U.S.A. for his third
