Crawley inWest Sussex ,England . West Green is located immediately to the west of the town centre. It is bordered by Northgate, Ifield and Langley Green to the north and west, and Southgate to the south.It was one of the first neighbourhoods to be constructed by the
new town development corporation in the 1950s. Indeed a street near to the town centre was used as a prototype for future New Town developments. The neighbourhood has a mixture of commercial and residential property.In recent years a vast majority of the oldest buildings in West Green including The Sarah Robinson school were demolished to make way for an Asda Supermarket.The area contains a hospital, a fire station, an ambulance station, a bowling alley, a 15-screen cinema, a supermarket and a hotel.
