Academics

Sands Secondary was formerly Sands Junior Secondary with Grades 8-10. With the reconfiguration of the 4 high schools in North Delta (also Delview, Burnsview and North Delta), Sands Secondary is now Grades 8-12 with its first Grade 12 class graduated in June 2006.

Athletics

Home of the Sands Scorpions football team, which competes at the AAA level.
