AAA Central District

AAA Central District

The AAA Central District is a high school conference in the state of Virginia that includes schools from the Greater Richmond Region, . AAA is the largest enrollment class of the Virginia High School League and also typically the most competitive level in Virginia high school sports.

The Central District schools compete in the AAA Central Region with schools from the AAA Capital District, AAA Colonial District, and the AAA Dominion District.

Facts About the District

The Central District schools are located in the southern part of the Greater Richmond Region, which includes schools in but not limited to Chesterfield County and Petersburg City.

Meadowbrook High School won first place in the Regional One Act Competition in 2007 and moved on to states with their performance of "A Woman Called Truth" by Sandra Fenichel Asher. The girl playing Sorjourner Truth got a best actress award.
