* Sugar Valley High School was first consolidated into Bald Eagle-Nittany High School beginning with the 1996-1997 school year.
* Bald Eagle-Nittany's school colors were Black/White/Silver. Lock Haven's school colors were Purple/White/Gray. Sugar Valley's school colors were Green/White.
* The school (Central Mountain) colors, name, and mascot were originally intended to be chosen by a vote between all three high schools in 1998. A student panel with representation from all three schools convened and compiled a list of nominees for each category which was then submitted to the entire student body of each school for voting. The color combination of Black/Purple/White received an overwhelming majority of student votes. However, school board officials, who independently decided that there should be no remnants of the former high schools, instead chose to use Royal blue/Light blue/White, the distant second leading vote-getter among students, as the new school's official colors. Other names considered included Susquehanna West High School and Keystone High School. Other mascot options included the Wolverines and the Goats.
* CMHS made adequate yearly progress last year ('06), by the graduating class of '07 and yet again by the Class of '08 , passing the PSSA.
