The Torresian Flying Fox ("Pteropus banakrisi"), also known as the Moa Island Fruit Bat, was a supposed newly discovered species of bat, named in 2002.

It was described as the smallest species of Australasian flying foxes. It is blackish, with relatively long ears and a long thumb, and often a chest streaked with grey. It has only been found on Moa Island, midway between Cape York Peninsula and Papua New Guinea in the Torres Strait. Later research indicated that the species was described based on juveniles of the Black Flying Fox ("Pteropus alecto").
