Dave Prosho Born 17 February 1965
Leicestershire, EnglandDave Prosho (born David James Prosho on 17 February 1965) is an English television actor. Dave grew up in Leicestershire, England where he lived for much of his childhood before relocating to Leeds, England where he now resides. He has a family of four.
His roles have included a fireman in Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights, a rugby player in Peak Practice, a soldier in a docudrama The Government Inspector on the Dr. David Kelly tragedy, as well as characters in Dalziel and Pascoe, Fat Friends, Emmerdale, a "Muscle Man" in the Channel 4 TV series Queer As Folk and Casualty.
His most notable role to date was in Hollyoaks, where he made regular appearances as Rob Owen, father of Nicole, Russ and Sam. Dave's command of many regional dialects stands him in good stead within the industry.
Dave previously co presented the Friday Night Inspiral Warm-Up on Revolution Radio with fellow actor Alex Carter and friend Broadie. The show consists of friendly banter and rock/indie songs in a two hour set. A regular feature on the show was "Dave's Rainbow" where each week Dave plays 3 songs associated with that weeks colour. Dave no longer presents the show.
