Operational Security Systems, Inc., also commonly referred to as OSS, is a small private company based in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of electronic security systems.

History

OSS was founded in 1972 as a small company performing integration of third-party security systems for private and corporate contracts. The company has had experience in Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States.

Operations

The company is a member of the SecurityNet [1] group, a large network of independent security system integrators throughout the United States.

Aside from the OSS headquarters in Atlanta, the company also has a main branch in Orlando, Florida, and also conducts several projects through other independent firms throughout the country, extending their reach internationally, as well. However, OSS operates mainly in the southeast states.

The company specializes in extensive planning and coordination of programming and engineering of digital systems such as access control, CCTV, intercoms, intrusion detection, memory storage consoles (for video backup), and surge protection.

Major clients

Clients include AT&T, Bell South, ConAgra, CBIS, Delta Air Lines, Eastman Kodak, Equifax, Federal Reserve Bank, General Motors, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Pacific, Georgia State University, Hewlett Packard, Johnson & Johnson, MCI, Nabisco, NCR, Prudential Insurance, Travelers Group and United Parcel Service.

OSS also handles several private contracts based on availability of services. However, services are generally catered towards corporations and large-scale security solutions for warehouses, corporate headquarters, etc.
