Zalafa was a Palestinian village located about 15 kilometers northwest of Tulkarm, that was captured by Israel during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. It was captured on April 15, 1948 as a part of the Israeli offensive, Coastal Clearing. In 1922, there were 63 inhabitants and this figure grew to 210 in 1945.
