William Harsey, Jr.

William (Bill) Harsey, Jr. is an award-winning American knife designer and maker who works with several knife companies, including Gerber, Lone Wolf Knives, and Chris Reeve Knives. Both operators and collectors value his knives. Harsey was born into a logging family in Oregon in 1955. He received an MFA from the University of Oregon.

Harsey collaborated with Colonel Rex Applegate to design Gerber's Applegate-Fairbairn line. He worked with Chief James Watson to design Gerber's Watson Harvey Silver Trident.
