SFACS-Calamba is one of the most respected and progressive learning institutions in the City of Calamba. Franciscans are known throughout the community for their Performance arts. The school has reaped several awards for dance and, its dance troupe, "Tribong Fransiskano" was even selected to be featured in the Digital LG Challenge. Aside from performance arts, the school is known for producing high caliber graduates, studying and graduating from various Universities. Every year, the school celebrates its Foundation Day on the Feast Day of Saint Francis of Assisi, October 4. It is usually a week-long event highlighted by an evening programme. It is also the time for various organizations to set up activities for its members. In 2006, the school celebrated its 15th Foundation Year. Other annual celebrations include the Living Rosary, Recognition Day and Faculty Day. Mass is held every first Wednesday of every month of the school year, and a Baccalaureate Mass is celebrated preceding the Recognition and Graduation Ceremonies. In 2002, SFACS-Calamba produced its largest production in terms of participating students and costs, which was based on the Walt Disney animations. Students went through workshops and the school had to renovate the stage and acquire state-of-the-art multimedia equipment for the production. Another, smaller scale production was set by the school in 2005 to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The school is involved in various outreach programs to help the less fortunate in the school's community.
