(2008)Beginning in July 2001,
Janet Jackson 's All for You Tour was a concert tour designed to promote the release of her 2001 album "All for You". The tour was originally scheduled to kick-off inVancouver ,Canada , but due to problems at theCanada – United States border with getting technical equipment across, the first show took place in Portland,Oregon while the Vancouver date was postponed to a later date. The tour trekked throughNorth America through the summer of 2001 and ended with a final show in Honolulu,Hawaii that was broadcast by HBO. It was originally slated as a world tour but all international dates (except for theJapan ese dates in 2002) were cancelled due to theSeptember 11, 2001 attacks .The All for You tour was notable for a highly sexualized rendition of "Would You Mind", where Jackson would select a male from the audience and have him strapped into a chair while caressing and fondling him in front of the audience. The tour went on to become one of the top-grossing tours of 2001 and saw Jackson performing most of her hits. A DVD of the concert, entitled "Live in Hawaii", was released later in 2002.
