quarterback for theNorth Carolina State University Wolfpack in the late 1980s. Shane ended his career with 5,298 yards passing and 31 touchdowns but his most impressive stat may be his 535 yards passing versus Duke in 1989, which still stands as N.C. State's single-game record.
