Michel Ciment (born 26 May 1938 in Paris)^[1] is a French film critic ^[2] and the editor of the cinema magazine Positif. ^[2]

Ciment is a Chevalier of the Order of Merit, Chevalier of the Legion of Honour, Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters, and the president of FIPRESCI. ^[2]
