The Word Network provides programming that is programmed with the urban community in mind. The focus of the network is to feature Urban Ministries, Gospel Music, live church conventions, musical specials and most recently, the convocation for the church of God in Christ. The programming covers a broad range of demographics from teenagers and young adults with a focus on contemporary Gospel music, to families seeking values consistently presented in a positive way, to the slightly more mature urban population that relates to many of the popular local, regional and national ministries. The Word Network features Bobby Jones, Creflo Dollar, T.D Jakes, Joyce Meyer, Dr. I.V Hilliard, Juanita Bynum, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Ken Copeland and many others.
This non-profit network has shown phenomenal growth in the last five years. The Word Network is now available to over 78,000,000 homes weekly, in not only the US but the UK, the Caribbean and Africa. Lewis Gibbs is the President of “The Word Network”. The network was founded by Frank and Kevin Adell a father and son broadcasting team from Detroit Michigan.
