Beechcroft High School is a four-year high school (grades 9-12) located on the north side of Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools. Beechcroft was first opened in 1976 as a six-year junior/senior high school. At that time, it was a school with an enrollment of over 1,200 students. Which is shocking considering the school today seems overcrowded with an enrollment of about 900.

Beechcroft is known to some as "Croft". The school colors are Gold and Brown. There is some discussion of plans to change the school colors to Black and Gold. The school nickname is the Cougars.

Sports and activities

The football program at Beechcroft competes in the Columbus City League. Beechcroft has reached the OHSAA playoffs 12 times in football, including a 5-season run from 1999-2003.
