Music video
The music video features the band in an abandoned space station playing while switching with scenes that correspond with the lyrics. There are scenes of a mysterious doctor, and many references to the Coheed and Cambria story. The man seen with injuries is Coheed, and is played by the video's director. The injuries are inflicted when the Monstar virus is activated. The woman seen is generally assumed to be Cambria, and also seen in the video are numerous dragonflies, who play an important part in the plot of the story. The video also features the band's drummer, Josh Eppard, as the doctor.
Alternate video
An alternate version of the video was shot and features the band in a barn, dressed in farmer style clothing and playing more traditional instruments. Claudio is shown playing a banjo, Travis is seen with an acoustic guitar, Mic Todd is playing a washtub bass and Josh is seen with trash cans and buckets for a drum kit. The album version of the song is perfectly synced with this video.
This video is available on the band's In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 bonus DVD and viewable on YouTube as well.
